Word Twist privacy.

In brief.

Word Twist is a word puzzle game. We collect what's needed to run the game, fix bugs, and serve ads — nothing else. The principles that govern this page reduce to five points.

• 01We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, photos, or contacts. There is no Word Twist account.
• 02Gameplay analytics (how you play, not who you are) go to Google Firebase. You can turn this off in Settings.
• 03Crash reports go to Google Crashlytics so we can fix bugs. You can turn this off in Settings.
• 04Ads are served by Google AdMob. Apple's tracking prompt asks once whether ads can be personalized; declining keeps the game free with non-personalized ads. Buying Streak Pass or Lifetime removes ads entirely.
• 05Your game progress, settings, streaks, and preferences live on your device. They never leave unless your device backs them up to iCloud on your behalf.

Who we are.

Word Twist is published by Ink & Warren Digital LLC, a Florida-registered software studio. Where this policy says we, our, or us, it means the same small team.

What we collect.

Word Twist collects the smallest amount of information required to give you a working daily puzzle, fix crashes, and fund the free version with ads. The app itself sends no data to servers we operate. All network data flows go to Google or Apple on our behalf.

Word Twist does not request the contacts, location, microphone, camera, calendar, or health permissions. The app holds network access for ads and Firebase, notification permission for the optional daily reminder, and billing for in-app purchases.

How we use it.

The data above is used for four narrow purposes:

1. To run the puzzle. Saving your guesses, tracking your streak, remembering your chosen theme and grid style, delivering what you purchased.
2. To improve the game. Analytics tell us which difficulties are too easy, where players get stuck, and which modes people actually play. We read aggregate dashboards, not individual sessions.
3. To keep the lights on. Ads fund the free version. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics help us ship better updates faster.
4. To meet our legal obligations. Responding to lawful requests, resolving disputes, enforcing our terms. We push back on overbroad requests.

Who we share it with.

Word Twist depends on a small list of vendors for distribution, analytics, crash reporting, payments, and the ad surface. We share the minimum data required for each to do their job.

We have no relationship with advertising networks outside of Google AdMob, no data brokers, and no analytics resellers.

How long we keep it.

Word Twist stores no personal information on servers we control. Game state and settings live on your device for as long as the app is installed. Uninstalling removes all local state.

Firebase Analytics events: Google retains for up to 14 months. Crashlytics crash records: 90 days. AdMob logs: per Google's standard retention. StoreKit transaction history and Game Center scores: per Apple's standard retention policies.

You can reset your iOS Advertising ID at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Your rights.

Wherever you are reading from, you have at minimum the following rights. Since Word Twist itself collects almost nothing identifiable, most of these resolve to controls inside the app or your device settings.

Children's privacy.

Word Twist is rated 4+ in the App Store. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age. The Firebase events described above are anonymous records — they do not identify the player.

If you believe a child has used the app and you'd like any data associated with their device removed, email us at hello@inkandwarrendigital.com and we'll work with Google to delete the relevant Firebase instance ID.

Security.

Your local data is sandboxed by iOS. Network traffic to Firebase and AdMob uses HTTPS. We do not operate any servers that hold personal data, so there is no production server for a breach to affect.

Changes to this policy.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and note it in the app's release notes. Material changes — anything that broadens what we collect or who we share it with — will be announced inside the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
