More or Less?

Privacy Policy

More or Less? — updated August 31, 2026 · v1.0

I In brief.

More or Less? is a small offline game. It was built so that nothing has to leave your phone, and almost nothing does. The whole policy reduces to four sentences.

  • There is no account. We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, or any credentials, because the app never asks for them.
  • Your streaks, records, settings and the run you are part-way through live on your device and are never uploaded by us.
  • The free version shows occasional ads from Google AdMob. Those ads are non-personalized, and the app never asks to track you across other apps or websites.
  • The one-time Remove Ads purchase stops all ads, and with them every ad request the app would have made.

II Who we are.

More or Less? is published by Ink & Warren Digital LLC, a Florida-registered software studio. Where this policy says we or our, it means that same small team.

Write to us at contactus@inkandwarrendigital.com. For anything about your data, put “privacy” in the subject line and it will reach a person.

III What is collected.

The app ships no analytics SDK, no telemetry, and no crash reporter of our own. The only data leaving the device is what Google needs in order to serve an ad or complete a purchase, and only in the free, ad-supported version.

Game stateYour streaks, best scores, Daily calendar, settings, and any run you are part-way through.Written to your device only. Never uploaded by us.
Ad signalsA device advertising identifier and coarse, non-precise request information.Sent to Google AdMob when an ad is requested. Non-personalized only.
Purchase receiptThe Apple-issued receipt for the Remove Ads purchase.Held by Apple. We only ever learn that the purchase is active.
Crash reportsAnonymous diagnostics, only if you have opted into sharing them with Apple.Sent to Apple by iOS, not by us. Governed by your device settings.

IV Advertising.

The free version shows a full-screen ad roughly once every twenty facts you answer. Ads never interrupt a question you have not answered yet, and the Daily never carries one at all.

Every ad request the app makes is flagged non-personalized. That means the ad is chosen from context rather than from a profile built about you.

  • The app never presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • Where local law requires it — including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom — a Google consent form appears before any ad is requested, and you may decline.
  • Google's own handling of ad requests is described in its Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
  • Buying Remove Ads stops the ad requests entirely; after that the app makes no network calls for advertising.

V Children.

More or Less? is a general-audience trivia game rated 4+. It collects no personal information itself, asks for no account, and serves only non-personalized advertising. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us — which the app gives no way to do — write to contactus@inkandwarrendigital.com and we will look into it.

VI Your data, and deleting it.

Because the app holds no account and stores nothing on our servers, there is no profile for us to export or erase on your behalf. Control sits with you and with your device.

  • To erase your records: open Settings inside the app and choose Reset records, or delete the app, which removes everything with it.
  • To reset advertising signals: iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising, and your device's advertising identifier controls.
  • To exercise rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA/CPRA against data Google holds, contact Google directly, since they are the party that received it.

VII Changes.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous wording is superseded from that date. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes rather than published quietly.

VIII Reaching us.
